When you hear the word “accident”, the first thing that comes to mind isn’t positive. A speeding ticket. Coffee on your lap before work. A fender bender. Most accidents have a negative effect. But some accidents are, indeed, positive. What about accidentally starting a business?

That’s literally what happened to me. I can truthfully say it was an accident. How did this morph from an unknown desire into an accidental business?

In January I was having my annual goal conversation with Alan planning for 2019. It was scary to voice my big hairy audacious goal, but as I sipped my coffee I told him I wanted to help individuals and organizations that don’t have a ton of money get more effective at marketing. I wanted to help them get their message out to the world. I wanted to take everything I’ve learned and what we’ve done at Stay Forth Designs and repurpose that to help others.

God has a way of providing in ways we don’t expect. That’s what happened here. People reached out who had a crucial message but needed help clearing the muddy waters and implementing a marketing strategy that worked for them.

A few conversations later, we realized that working together would give us a one-two punch approach that would allow us to bring more value. This whole crazy journey has been God’s provision. The people. The opportunities. The vision. That’s how High Touch Marketing was born and how we accidentally started a business.

We believe that every organization has a story, but they don’t often know how to communicate it. Marketing can be confusing and it’s ever-changing. It’s hard to dedicate time to figure out where and how to place that message others need to hear. You know you need to be seen so you can be heard and known, but you don’t know how to take that first step.

That’s where we come in. We want to help. It’s crazy and a little terriciting (we love that word!) to accidentally start a business. This wasn’t really the plan, but it also makes a lot of sense. Both Alan and I care about life-changing messages transforming others. But they have to get to others eyes or ears in order to make it to their hearts. I’ve never done anything like this before, but I already couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I love helping others get their message out!

If you want to propel the message inside you to the world we may be able to help. We know it can be messy and scary. We want to help you tell that story with confidence, clarity, and courage.
